Matthew Klein

Founder

Matthew Klein founded Collective2 LLC and wrote the early versions of the C2 Platform.

He graduated from Yale University in 1990. After dropping out of Stanford Graduate School of Business, he founded two technology companies: Release Software Corporation and TechPlanet, Inc.

In addition to contributing to C2, Matthew is also a novelist. His books, Con Ed (Review | Buy) and Switchback (Buy) have been published in nine languages and many countries. He is currently working on a third novel.

Matthew lives in Westchester County, New York, with his wife Laura, his two sons, and a whippet named Zeus.

Francis Gingras

Founder, Trade Integration LLC

Francis has been developing software since the DOS days. One day, in the mid-nineties, frustrated by TradeStation 4's limitations, he decided to create his own software to automate his personal trading.

He fell in love with the idea of not having to monitor a computer all day to place trades. This project eventually evolved into TradeBullet, a commercial automation tool for traders launched in 2004. In 2006, he co-founded Trade Integration, a company devoted to providing advanced server-based AutoTrading for all Collective2 systems.

Right now he's busy developing a Gen3 interface to a very popular broker, which C2 Members have been requesting for several years.

Francis holds a MBA from the University of Wales.

Bohuslav "Bob" Svancara

Super Secret Projects

Bob works on Super Secret Projects here at Collective2. Some of these Super Secret Projects are described in great detail and openness elsewhere on the Internet. Among the projects Bob has developed at C2 are The Grid, the new TradeStation interfaces, and several middleware layers that make C2's plumbing flow. Bob is currently working on a Super Secret Project code-named "Big Data."

In addition to his work at Collective2, Bob is a Collective2 system developer. He is the mastermind behind the very good C2 trading system called Solaris.

Bob has been a programmer for his entire professional life. He has a degree in Computer Science and Math. He lives in Boskovice, in Czech Republic.

Melissa Karty

Customer Advocate

Melissa has worked in the world of financial services world for over ten years, focusing primarily on customer service. Her cheery voice (and equally cheery emails) are the sound and typeface of Collective2. Her job is to answer customer questions and - more important - to advise C2's software developers about how to better design C2 in order to prevent questions in the first place. Melissa has an Associates Degree in Social Science and resides in sunny Southern California.

Alen Salvador

Customer Help

Alen has a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Major in Journalism. She was one thesis defense away from earning her MBA degree when she decided to go backpacking in Europe. When Alen is not managing the Collective2 Help Desk, she does freelance writing. She lives in Toronto with her husband and their three girls.
